I am a retired ER physician who loves the outdoors. For hiking and camping activities, I have, for decades, always mixed my own “GORP”; but it was difficult to formulate a mix of items that provides recommended levels of protein – only estimates were possible. With aging, the recommended amounts increase. Munchy Crunchy Protein bean snacks address several needs: (1) known weight of protein (16 grams) per pack; (2) very lightweight; (3) satisfies hunger — one or two packs is all I need for lunch; (4) convenient — takes up very little room. There are other advantages, particularly for athletes (I have two godchildren who are competitive swimmers). Bottom line —- highly recommended!

As a Type 2 Diabetic, I am always looking for high protein, low carb snacks. These snacks fill that need and are light weight and easy to keep in my purse. The Salted Caramel are a great alternative to granola in yogurt. The Chillin’ Chipotle kick up a salad for that “taco” flavor without adding the carbs, calories, and fats of Dorito’s. The Rockin’ Ranch taste great with just enough salt to meet that craving. And being only 2 points on Weight Watchers these snacks are a WIN!
